Many of you probable know of Regina Doman. She is the author of several Catholic young adult and children’s books, including "Angel in the Waters”. Her book “Shadow of a Bear” was my favorite book as a teen.
Her 4-year-old son Joshua died in tragic car accident that the parents were driving. *Sigh* I can only imaging what the family is going through. I know that there are many parents that have lost their children through tragedy but this particular incident has really hit me personally. Please say a short Hail Mary for this family right now. We can never underestimate the power of prayer.
O Lord, whose ways are beyond understanding,
listen to the prayers of your faithful people:
that those weighed down by grief
at the loss of this (little) child
may we find assurance in your infinite goodness.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
